Hanging by a thread

Hello again!

Well, it's official. I am a legitimate college senior. I received a snazzy email confirming it, which confirmed that my severe case of senioritis is legitimate as well. The clouds parted (both literally and figuratively), the sun came out, my bathing suit made an appearance, and I lost all interest in school. Two weeks until I am out for summer and the anticipation is killing me. My yearning for the summer inspired me to make this summery little dress for The Tin Thimble's 2012 Handmade Summer Wardrobe Fashion Show. As always, there are more in the making, so check back in a week or two and I'll have more posted! For those of you enduring a serious case of classroom, work or routine boredom, hang in there with me! We'll make it! As always, comments are appreciated, thanks for reading!

I used a very simple New Look pattern, #6096 to be exact.

A vintage blueish/purple border print.

I used hot pink bias tape as an edging and for the neck ties break up all the blurple.
