I hope you all had a wonderful 3-day weekend. It was sooo nice to have Monday off. Although, I did spend most of it studying, it was still nice to be at home instead of school. Any who, these coasters may look familiar to some of you.
I made them a while ago and they've been in my Etsy shop for a long time....too long in my opinion. So, I'm giving them away! This is my first ever blog giveaway, and I have to admit I'm really excited. These cute little coasters need a new home and I can hardly wait to send them off to one of you!

my favorite summer memory happened the summer i went to stockholm, sweden. in the summer, the sun doesnt go down until almost midnight and it hardly gets dark. my first night there, my friends and i got ice cream and sat watching the sky/sun go down. the sky was at a purple-ish orange tint. it was so lovely to be in a fun foreign place with good company. priceless :)

ReplyDeleteOops, forgot to type up my favorite summer memory... I used to lead youth on outdoor adventures in the Sierras about a decade ago, and my best trip ever was a multi-day kayak on Lake Tahoe!
ReplyDeleteOh my very favorite is one from years ago, dating a romantic fella (who sadly is someone else's someone today) who posited me in an inflated tire tube on a pond and pushed me about on an idyllic sunny summer day...then suddenly swam across said pond and back...bearing a wild iris to put behind my ear "to show the rest you're taken!"

The last day of summer prior to starting 7th grade at my Jr/Sr High School in Los Angeles, I pitched a tent in the backyard with two of my very best "gal pals." Just as we were ready to fall asleep one of us said "The next song on the radio should be "our song" for the year" and with that "Dust In The Wind" began to play. To this day the song's melody takes me back to laying on the soft sleeping bag surrounded by good friends.
